Hey everyone! I’m Chelsea and am thrilled to have you visiting my blog. I live in beautiful Vancouver, Canada. I have a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from the University of British Columbia. However, I work by day as an Insights and Analytics Specialist at lululemon. This company has supported me, developed me and helped me grow in all areas of my life. The die-hard “sweat life” company culture grounds me and wearing gym-clothes everyday to work is an added bonus.

The most beautiful place I have ever been is Skálanes, Iceland. I’m determined to go back there someday- perhaps for my honeymoon (whenever that happens)! My soul is at peace with my toes digging into sand at the beach, and I have always wanted to live beside the sea. I’m an outgoing-introvert. I love to socialize with close friends but I’m energized by alone time outdoors or in the gym. I’m a home-body who loves to travel. A lifetime goal of mine is to travel to a new place every year. This year I went to South Korea in May and I will be heading down south to Trinidad and Tobago in October. I’m so excited for all the tropical fruit!

Some of my favourite things include: working out (which includes but not limited to lifting heavy weights at the gym or sweaty dance parties at Ride Cycle Club), road trips, homemade sourdough, dark coffee, paddleboarding, browsing pinterest, face masks, folding napkins, Ikea, and anything in the colour celadon.

I’m the younger sister to twin brothers and I have the most amazing and supportive parents. My best friend is my Mom and we have more matching outfits than I do matching socks. Bourbon and Darby are the dogs of the family. Bourbon soaks me sloppy kisses and Darby is my brunch date for Sunday waffles.

I started this blog on a whim in the summer of 2019. I was asked by one of my colleagues if I wrote my recipes down. While my pinterest boards are overflowing plant-based recipes, keeping track of substitutions and enhancements is never easy. So I thought ” Hey, why not start a blog to help me keep track?” So here is the result. My blog is constantly changing and growing as I learn more about blogging.I hope you enjoy the blog as much as I enjoy creating it.
